Friends of roasted

Of course we have friends, we're nice people.

Let us introduce you to a small cross section of them, which we believe shows just how versatile we are at roasted in meeting the ongoing needs of each and every one of our very varied customer base.

Shepherd Neame

Our friends at Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest independent brewer, have a tradition that can be traced back to the foundation of its brewery in 1698. The brewery has over 300 pubs across the South East of England, characterised by rural village pubs and suburban community pubs. They range from food-focused destination houses and historic coaching inns to traditional locals. Many of these offer accommodation in superb village and coastal settings.

Through an internal review of their tenanted houses Shepherd Neame identified that improvement was needed in the provision of hot drinks and more specifically the coffee in their food-led tenanted houses. roasted were given the opportunity to spend some time with the brewery to really understand their requirements and through this collaboration the Coffee & Ale House brand was born.

Working closely with our friends, we created a brand that is unique to Shepherd Neame with a logo instantly recognisable across the many places it is seen... be it on a menu, coffee cup or A-board. Also, a range of premium coffee offers have been designed to work with different types of pubs within the Shepherd Neame tenanted estate.

After assessing the needs of Shepherd Neame’s various tenanted pubs, it was discovered that these busy food-led pubs needed a quality coffee offering that was easy to operate and maintain.

Consequently, we agreed to provide the French Press Portion Control Grinder with Cafetière coffee makers for their lower-volume sites, premium coffee with reduced equipment costs, and the Jura Giga X3 Bean to Cup coffee machine, which makes a range of high quality coffees at the touch of a button, for their higher-volume busier sites.

Our ability to cater for all types of business requirements is one of our real strengths and we look forward to a continued partnership with Shepherd Neame.

Maverick Coffee Co.

Our first contact with Maverick Coffee Co came when Pippa, the owner, enquired about top up barista training, as she was in the process of setting up a mobile coffee business.

One to one training was provided, which proved so successful that despite visiting a few of our competitors Pippa decided to strike a deal with us to supply not only our coffee but also hot chocolate, barista tools etc. Now, we even service the coffee machine on the 'public face' of Maverick Coffee Co, its tuk tuk!!

We have endeavoured to support Pippa every step of the way in her new adventure and our relationship has gone from strength to strength, so much so that we like to think we can now add this top notch coffee provider to our ever increasing list of friends.

Fishers Farm Park

Fishers Farm Park is an award-winning, all-year family attraction located in Wisborough Green in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. It offers a unique mixture of farm animals and adventure play.

It is a fantastic place and we were delighted when we were approached by their catering manager to discuss their coffee provisions. We quickly established that Fishers Farm has extremely high standards and that quality was of the upmost importance.

We initially recommended two Jura Impressa X9 bean-to cup machines for their restaurant and coffee shop. Following their success, we rolled out further machines to Cafe Moo Moo, Ramblers Retreat and Splash Attack. Recently, we have upgraded the Impressa X9s to Jura Giga X3s to cope with ever increasing demands.

V and H Café

With a small friendly team, V and H Café on Holland Road, Hove is a top notch, independent establishment. Undoubtedly the place to go for fantastic coffee, it offers a wide and interesting selection of high grade loose leaf teas, quality soft drinks, homemade super juices, fresh made-to-order sandwiches, gluten-free cakes, pastries, breakfasts and lunches.

They are great advocates for supporting other small businesses so we were especially pleased when they asked us to become one of their suppliers; together we are stronger in helping V and H Café deliver a quality product to their hungry and thirsty customers.

They have a Crem G10 2 group takeaway traditional espresso machine with a Fiorenzato F64 Evo on demand grinder which has proved to be a great work horse coping with the high demand such a busy coffee shop commands.
